Job Description
Location: Mount Vernon IL 62864
Benefits: Sign on Bonus Relocation and others

Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions affecting the hand wrist and upper extremity.
Perform surgical and non-surgical interventions to restore function and alleviate pain.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including occupational/physical therapists primary care providers and other specialists.
Participate in shared call coverage for orthopedic patients.
Provide consultations follow-up care and ongoing management for acute and chronic conditions.
Contribute to the continued growth of the orthopedic service line through community engagement and clinical leadership.
Qualifications:
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
Board certification/eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery.
Fellowship training in Hand Surgery or equivalent extensive experience in hand/wrist procedures.
Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Illinois.
Strong clinical diagnostic and surgical skills with a patient-first approach.
Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities.
