Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Personal Tax Senior to join our clients Private Client Services team. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of personal tax clients including high-net-worth individuals non-domiciled individuals and trusts. This role involves delivering high-quality compliance services and providing advisory support on a range of personal tax matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of personal tax clients ensuring timely and accurate preparation and submission of self-assessment tax returns.
  • Provide tax compliance and advisory services to high-net-worth individuals non-domiciled individuals and trusts.
  • Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients handling inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Identify tax planning opportunities and provide proactive advice to clients.
  • Review work prepared by junior team members providing guidance and support as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and ensure clients are informed of relevant developments.
  • Assist in business development activities including preparing proposals and attending client meetings.



Requirements

  • ATT qualified and/or CTA qualified or part-qualified.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in personal tax within a practice environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK personal taxation including experience with non-domiciled individuals and trusts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Proficient in using tax software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team managing multiple priorities effectively.
