THE ROLE:
FloSports is seeking a Director of Lifecycle Marketing to lead our end-to-end customer journey strategy across acquisition engagement and retention. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who is as comfortable building a lifecycle campaign in Iterable as they are presenting performance insights to executives. Youll oversee a small team of two marketers and collaborate across Marketing Product Content and Design to scale personalized lifecycle programs that drive subscriber growth conversion and loyalty.
This is a player-coach role where youll help define strategy mentor team members and execute campaigns yourself. Youll also play a key role in developing our B2B2C lifecycle strategyturning leads from FloSports B2B properties into loyal B2C subscribersand own reporting on customer segmentation growth and health metrics.
Were looking for someone with deep experience in streaming or subscription-focused businesses with multiple verticals or product lines. Experience building and optimizing customer journeys is a must and technical knowledge of Iterable is highly preferred. Successful candidates will demonstrate a proven track record of delivering lifecycle campaigns that drive a growing and active subscriber base.
This role is based in Austin TX with a hybrid work schedule requiring three days per week in the office.
Responsibilities:
Lead and execute lifecycle marketing strategies across the entire customer journeyfrom lead generation and onboarding through engagement retention and winback.
Manage and mentor a team of two lifecycle marketers providing clear direction feedback and growth opportunities.
Own and operate within Iterablebuilding launching and optimizing multi-channel campaigns (email push) with minimal technical support.
Collaborate cross-functionally with B2B Product Marketing Integrated Marketing Content and Design teams to support product launches and ensure lifecycle journeys are fully aligned with broader marketing goals.
Develop and execute B2B2C lifecycle strategies driving conversion from leads generated by FloSports B2B offerings and partnership initiatives.
Drive segmentation and personalization efforts leveraging customer behavior and subscription data to tailor messaging and offers.
Track and report on active subscriber growth engagement and retention metrics turning insights into actionable strategies.
Own key lifecycle KPIs including lead generation and conversion goals LTV customer health metrics and campaign performance benchmarks.
Partner with Data and Engineering teams to scope requirements for segmentation data availability and campaign enablement.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
10 years of marketing experience with significant time in lifecycle CRM and email marketing roles.
A strong background in streaming or subscription-based businesses is highly preferred.
Experience with multi-vertical businesses or multi-product lines is required.
Proven experience managing and mentoring small high-performing teams.
Hands-on experience with Iterable is required; you should be able to independently build QA and launch complex lifecycle journeys.
Strong grasp of customer segmentation personalization and marketing automation best practices.
Comfortable working across teams aligning cross-functional stakeholders and advocating for the customer journey.
Able to analyze performance data build reports and synthesize insights to improve results.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills; youre a strong presenter and an even stronger doer.
MS/MBA in Marketing Marketing Analytics or a related field is a plus.
Passion for sports is definitely a plus!
Bonus points if you have experience developing and managing Subscription Loyalty Programs with Product teams.
