Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Test Engineer will be responsible for all testing aspects of the products (On Prem and SaaS) including; participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle and perform hands-on activities such as; test plan preparation execution of tests release approval bug verification.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
BE . in Computer Science or equivalent
6 years of experience in manual testing ( 4 to 8 years)
Experience in developing test plans test metrics and performance testing(jMeter etc.)
Experience in release testing and approval
Experience with Databases (SQL and noSQL)
Experience in shell scripting
Strong experience in OS like Linux and Windows and knowledge in packet captures
Experience in Networking concepts such as TCP/UDP L3/L4/L7 etc.
Experience with deployment cycle and tools like: Jenkins vSphere etc.
Strong analytical diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and take ownership
Be able to adopt to new technologies and infrastructure.
Foster close interface with R&D groups PM Security and analytics teams
A team player with excellent collaboration communication and self-learning skills
Good to have:
Security domain knowledge
Experience in Cloud computing (AWS )
