Job Description

POSITION: Coordinator On-Campus Community Services

COMPENSATION:

Pursuant to CA regulations if this job is performed in CA the salary range is $27 - $29 plus bonus potential.

REPORTS TO: Community Manager

SUMMARY:

Through a strategic partnership between Capstone Management Partners (CMP) and Cardinal Group Management we are providing for-purpose on-campus student housing management across the United States. CMP is focused on providing customized management services specific to university partners who prefer to outsource operations and facilities management while maintaining control over residential life services. For this reason CMP is primarily focused on affiliated campus edge and on-campus student housing facilities. CMP combines the strength and experience of a nationally renowned housing development and asset management company with the skills efficiencies and procedures of one of the most innovative and prolific student housing property managers in the country Cardinal Group Management.

A CMP Community Services Coordinator is an adaptive outgoing and hardworking leader. You are primarily responsible for providing excellent customer service with a focus on customer satisfaction and daily operations of front desk management.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES (Included but not limited to):

  • Coordinate front-desk operations.
  • Demonstrate a positive professional and client-oriented attitude with team members residents clients and the public.
  • Answer incoming phone calls professionally and handle accordingly whether the caller is a prospective client a client an internal company team member or a vendor.
  • Covering front desk shifts when needed varying from 8 am - 5 pm M-F.
  • Serve as liaison for Community Manager with residents and property vendors.
  • Help coordinate the tasks and schedules for the Community Assistant team.
  • Ensure tenants are provided a clean safe and well-maintained community.
  • Work with residents to ensure positive tenant and community relations.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related administrative tasks as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures rules and regulations.
  • Administer the lockout/key system for residents. Verify access requests in Simplicity check out keys/temporary badges for lost articles.
  • Coordinate the turnover process inside the units between Summer sessions which includes oversight of Community Assistant duties and schedules during this period.
  • Serve as the SME / first point of contact for Community Assistant escalations.
  • Participate in Cardinal U training as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Customer service or related experience preferred
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Enjoy and take pride in providing excellent service
  • High-energy and great with people in person and on the phone
  • Excellent verbal written and computer skills
  • Strong database management skills preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Available to work up to twenty hours per week including weekends as assigned (move in move out etc.)
  • Ability to embody the Cardinal Culture and Cardinal Core Values every day

Incumbents must be able to physically access all exterior and interior parts of the property and amenities and must be able to work inside and outside in all weather conditions including but not limited to rain snow heat hail wind and sleet.
