The Opportunity:
Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton MO is seeking a full time MLT. In this position you will perform medical laboratory testing in a CLIA-certified laboratory. This position is responsible for the accuracy timely reporting and integrity of laboratory results.
Has working knowledge of and performs testing in accordance with laboratorys policy procedures and regulatory standards.
Successful performance in laboratorys external proficiency program.
Organizes and prioritizes multiple technical tasks with maximum efficiency and minimal waste.
Reports laboratory results in the Hospital LIS/EMR as ordered by providers.
Reviews and approves quality control results to affirm validity of patient results.
Maintains instrumentation and confirms acceptable performance.
Uses education and experience to identify and resolve technical instrumental and physiological issues that interfere with accurate testing.
Works collaboratively with Manager and Medical Laboratory Scientists and recognizes scenarios that require assistance.
