A great Technical Writer at Fiserv collaborates with internal teams to understand product and documentation requirements thoroughly. They produce high-quality documentation that complies with standards and suits the intended audience. They analyze content for reuse opportunities and maintain the information architecture effectively.
What you will do:
- Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of product and documentation requirements
- Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for intended audiences
- Analyze existing and potential content focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
- Create and maintain the information architecture
What You Will Need To Have:
- 3 years of experience as a Technical Writer including experience writing software documentation
- Proficiency at writing impeccable content in U.S. English
- Ability to work with product subject matter experts and technical team stakeholders to gather and develop accurate user-friendly documentation within Fiserv standards and guidelines
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and present them clearly in text and graphics
- Experience with Microsoft Office products SharePoint Adobe Acrobat SnagIt and other documentation tools
- Ability to work with limited supervision and translate high-level directives into deliverables
- Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development
- Bachelors degree in Technical Communications Professional Writing English Journalism or Computer Science; or commensurate experience
- Ability to work within time frames to deliver quality documentation
What Would Be Great To Have:
- 5 years of relevant technical writing experience
- Experience in the financial services or banking industry
- Experience working in Jira as a reference point for source information
Salary Range
$56900.00 - $95600.00These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey New York and California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
