Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Linux System Administrator to join our IT operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration maintenance and continuous improvement of our Linux-based infrastructure. You will work closely with other IT professionals to ensure system stability security and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Install configure and maintain Linux servers (Red Hat CentOS Ubuntu etc.)

Perform system monitoring performance tuning and capacity planning
-
Manage user accounts permissions and access controls
-
Maintain system security by applying patches and updates regularly
-
Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions
-
Automate routine tasks using shell scripts or configuration management tools (Ansible Puppet etc.)
-
Monitor system logs and respond to incidents or performance issues
-
Collaborate with development and network teams to support CI/CD pipelines and production environments
-
Maintain documentation for systems processes and procedures
-
Ensure system uptime and reliability according to SLAs
Required Skills and Qualifications:
-
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)

3 years of experience in Linux administration

Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and shell scripting
-
Experience with web servers (Apache NGINX) database servers (MySQL PostgreSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP)

Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes)

Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible Puppet Chef)
-
Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP DNS firewalls)

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:

Linux certifications (e.g. RHCSA RHCE CompTIA Linux)

Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios Zabbix Prometheus)

Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitLab CI)
-
Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices
