2nd Shift Schedule: Monday - Friday 2:15 PM - 10:15 PM
2nd Shift Starting Pay: $29.38/hour (includes 8% shift premium)
Job Purpose: Under general supervision responsible for the set-up maintenance and operation of robotic welding equipment and other duties as assigned. Typically reports to a supervisor.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with robotic systems including mechanical electrical and programming problems and work with manufacturers to resolve these issues.
Programming: Write modify and debug Fanuc robot programs to meet production requirements and improve efficiency.
Repairs: Work with the maintenance team to conduct repairs on Fanuc robots as needed including replacing parts and components.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities repairs and modifications.
Collaboration: Work closely with MEs and Production staff to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Basic Qualifications:
Requires a mechanical or electronic aptitude with a good working knowledge of fabrication and machining practices.
Must have GMAW welding experience
Proficient computer skill with experience in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints
Top Qualifications:
2 year degree in Robotics
Robotic experience with:Touch Sensing Through the Arc Seam Tracking Position Registers User Frames Tool Center Point Welding/Weaving Schedules Remastering and Macros
Complete understanding of welding defects and weld inspection tools
Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic fixtures.
Follows documented procedures standard work routings and blueprints to perform safe and defect free work and adjustment of components and machines.
Perform other related work duties as assigned.
Follows and utilizes CPS principles of 5S Continuous Improvement Idea
Reporting Waste Elimination and Standard Work.
Keeps work area in a clean and orderly condition.
Must be able to function as part of a team willing to be multi-trained and maintain a safe clean and order work area
Contributing team member
Must have effective communications skills
