Position Overview
The Nitro Bar in Providence RI is looking for a line and prep cook to join our team. Our ideal candidate is self-driven punctual and hard-working. They must be willing to learn quickly pay close attention to detail work well within a team environment and maintain a clean workspace at all times. We expect our Line and Prep Cooks to interact with customers as our layout is an open kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Cooking: Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and plating standards.
- Station Management: Set up and maintain designated station ensuring its stocked and clean.
- Food Handling: Handle and store food safely following food safety protocols.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and high-quality meals.
- Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of their station and surrounding areas.
- Inventory: Take inventory counts before and after shifts if required.
- Assistance: Assist other kitchen staff as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen experience
