The Opportunity
The School of Chemistry is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Senior Teaching Fellow with expertise in Food Chemistry to contribute to and lead innovative educational programs supporting the Schools Master course in Food Science and Agribusiness.
The successful candidate will be responsible for unit coordination the development and delivery of content supervision of discipline-specific research projects and collaboration with other faculties and industry partners.
The ideal candidate will have a doctoral qualification in Food Chemistry and/or equivalent accreditation and standing with a proven record of relevant teaching experience in a tertiary environment including experience in developing teaching materials. A deep understanding of contemporary pedagogies and methods is essential along with expertise in the relevant discipline and a demonstrated ability to enhance the teaching and learning experience.
This Teaching Fellow appointment will be an initial 2-yearfixed term position however there is the potential for conversion to an ongoing Education Focused position at the conclusion of this term.
