This is a 11-month contract with the opportunity to move into a long-term position company wide. The remuneration package for this role is $82000 per annum (inclusive of 12% superannuation).

As a Commercial Property Claims Officer you will be managing a portfolio of commercial property claims. You will take ownership of the claim from lodgement to finalisation whilst delivering a Best-in-Market claims experience to our customers. You will be dedicated to helping our customers get back to focusing on their business after a loss whilst providing outstanding customer service and claims management solutions.

You will be highly supported through an extensive 8-week onboarding program. To set you up for success 5 days per week office attendance for face-to-face training is required during your onboarding program.

What youll do:

  • Managing inbound and outbound calls from customers suppliers and intermediaries (including brokers) relating to commercial property claims
  • Case managing a portfolio of claims post lodgement to finalisation with accountability for delivering exceptional customer service and managing claim cost
  • Providing timely claim updates to customers intermediaries and claims stakeholders
  • Reviewing reports to identify next steps for the claim
  • Communicating with various internal and external stakeholders
  • Using product disclosure statements to determine claims acceptance
  • Resolving internal and external issues and complaints
  • Recording accurate claims information into claims management systems
