ABOUT YU MING CHARTER SCHOOL
Yu Ming Charter School is a non-profit tuition-free network of public schools located in Oakland and San Leandro and open to all residents of California. As a leader in Mandarin Immersion education our mission is to nurture our inclusive and diverse community to become empowered engaged and outstanding global citizens. We currently serve 952 students across three campuses and continue to grow our enrollment each year. Our intentionally diverse student body comes from many racial ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds representing 70 zip codes across the Bay Area and 29 home languages. Founded in 2011 Yu Ming is the first Mandarin immersion public charter school in the state.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- General support/troubleshooting/repair for the following:
- Macs PCs Chromebooks iPads audio/visual equipment and peripherals located in offices classrooms labs carts and off-site.
- Front-of-classroom technology (TVs projectors Apple TVs printers etc
- General testing for education systems/platforms:
- Clever
- Google Workspace (Docs Sheets Classroom Drive etc.)
- NWEA
- Zoom
- Others as assigned
- Assist the Technology Team with System Administration:
- Clever
- Chromebook Management
- Internet Filter/Deledao
- MDM: (Cisco Meraki System Manager and Mosyle)
- AssetTiger and Incident IQ ( inventory management system)
- New technology initiatives and deployment
- Other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 16 years of age
- Experience with or interest in IT Systems and Computers (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.

TIME COMMITMENT
8 Weeks on site 6/16 - 8/08 subject to candidate availability. 6-8 hours/day subject to candidate availability.
COMPENSATION
$17-19/hr commensurate with experience.
