Our flagship propertyHilton McLean is searching for a talented Banquet Cookto join their team!
This well known high profile property is located directly adjacent to Hiltons headquarters in the bustling area of Tysons Corner in McLean Virginia. The beautiful 458 room property boasts over 27000 square feet of elegant meeting space and two food andbeverage outlets. Reliable transportation is a must as shifts will often end after Metro & Bus closures. This is a union position!
Ideal candidate will be a team player who is passionate hardworking and has a minimum 1 year of professional cooking experience. Prior culinary experience in hotel banquet operations is preferred. This is a union position!
Shift Pattern: This position will be overseeing AM and PM shifts. Full availability is required including weekends and holidays
Pay Rate:$24.99 per hour

What will I be doing
As a Cook you would be responsible for preparing maintaining and monitoring quality control for hot food items in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Prepare maintain and monitor quality control for hot food items including but not limited to meat fish fowl sauces stocks and seasonings
- Prepare food items according to designated recipes and quality standards
- Prepare guest orders in a friendly timely and efficient manner
- Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times
- Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchen and ensure plates are clean and appetizing
- Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal state local and company regulations
