Personal Support Worker (PSW)
Location: Northern Ontario
Rate: $30/hour
Our client is seeking a dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join their healthcare team in Northern Ontario. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a rural healthcare setting with travel expenses and private accommodations fully covered.
About the Role
The PSW will provide essential support to patients ensuring high-quality care and assisting with daily living activities. Working closely with nursing staff the PSW will contribute to a compassionate and safe healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care including bathing dressing and feeding.
- Assist with mobility transfers and activities of daily living.
- Support nursing staff with basic healthcare tasks.
- Maintain a safe clean and comfortable environment for patients.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to residents.
Requirements
- PSW Certificate (from an accredited Ontario College)
- 2 years experience in LTC or hospital setting
