Tasks
Data Collection: Gather and analyze quantitative and qualitative data relevant to market opportunities and investment feasibility.
Regulatory Research: Investigate regulatory compliance requirements and incentives for wind energy projects in target markets. Analyze relevant regulations and policies affecting wind energy projects and assess their potential impact on business operations.
Market Research: Conduct thorough research on Renewable Energy Industry Dynamics & Market Opportunities in the wind sector.
Financial Analysis: Support pre-feasibility studies and financial modeling for renewable energy projects. Conduct cost-benefit analyses revenue assessments and risk evaluations. Prepare key financial metrics including NPV IRR LCOE and Payback Period. Provide data-driven insights to assess investment feasibility and business opportunities.
Risk Assessment: Assists in evaluating potential risks involved in new business opportunities employing both qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques.
Business Case Development: Support the creation of detailed business cases for new projects including risk assessment and revenue projections based on financial analysis in the wind energy sector.
Presentation Preparation: Prepare presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders and management. Proposal Development: Assist in drafting internal and B2B business proposals project teasers project charters and presentations for new business opportunities including grant applications and project pitches.
Requirements
Education: Pursuing or holding a degree in Business Administration Finance Economics or other domain-related disciplines.
Financial Analysis Skills: Experience with financial modeling is a plus.
Mindset: Proactive & creative mindset with initiative planning and organizational skills.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical & logical thinking abilities to assess data and derive meaningful insights.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presentations and report writing.
Interpersonal skills: Willingness to work and collaborate effectively within an international team of colleagues and partners across various departments.
Software Proficiency & IT skills: Proficient in MS Office applications like Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and data analysis tools - Power BI knowledge is a desirable advantage.
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in reports and analyses.
High Level of English: Proficiency in English is a must as it is the primary language of business communication.
Additional Language Skills: Proficiency in German Spanish and/or French is considered an advantage.
Previous experience in strategic analysis and business development is nice to have but is not mandatory.
