Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Team Lead with full stack capabilities to drive product
development for a supply chain advisory. In this role you will be responsible for architecting developing and maintaining our solution while mentoring a team of talented developers. You should have in-depth experience across the entire tech stack including Django Django REST Framework
ReactJS PostgreSQL and related middleware and a proven track record of leading teams in
a product-based environment.
Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership:
- Architect and implement scalable solutions.
- Lead design reviews code quality initiatives and enforce best practices.
- Ensure seamless integration between backend (Django APIs) frontend (ReactJS) and data layers (PostgreSQL).
- Team Management:
- Mentor and manage a development team (with at least 2 years of team management experience).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including AI/ML specialists to drive end-to-end product development.
- Oversee daily operations sprint planning and ensure timely delivery of features.
- Hands-On Development:
- Contribute to coding across the stack as needed.
- Optimize and troubleshoot issues in a Dockerized environment deployed on VMs on Google Cloud.
- Client-Centric Adaptability:
- Develop client-specific customizations and plug-in capabilities for varying data formats and report outputs.
- Implement robust access control and dynamic configuration based on client needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a product-based company.
- At least 2 years of team management experience.
- Strong full stack development skills with proven expertise in:
- Backend: Django Django REST Framework Python.
- Frontend: ReactJS and associated state management tools.
- Database: PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Dockerized deployments on VMs.
- Demonstrated experience with middleware/data transformation pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience working on supply chain or decision-support software.
- Exposure to integrating AI/ML models into production systems.
- A proactive startup mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
