Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Shift Leader to join our franchise team in Caboolture Australia. As a Shift Leader you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth daily operations maintaining high standards of customer service and leading a team of dedicated staff members.
- Oversee and coordinate daily shift operations ensuring efficient service and high-quality standards
- Lead motivate and support team members to achieve individual and collective goals
- Manage staff schedules and allocate tasks effectively to optimise productivity
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies
- Handle customer inquiries feedback and complaints professionally and efficiently
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management
- Maintain a clean organised and safe work environment
- Assist in training new team members and providing ongoing coaching to existing staff
- Collaborate with management to implement new initiatives and improve operational processes
- Prepare and submit accurate shift reports and other relevant documentation
Qualifications :
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment preferably in the food service or retail sector
- Demonstrated track record of providing outstanding customer service
- Food Safety Supervisor certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Responsible Service of Alcohol certification (or willingness to complete the course)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends
- Basic computer literacy for managing schedules reports and other administrative tasks
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
