We work with hundreds of college and professional teams and major sporting events to deliver exceptional fan experiences including full-service tailgates premium hospitality events and exclusive ticket packages. In addition to managing fan experience offerings we also provide comprehensive hospitality solutions to our team and event partners with event staffing event management premium hospitality management and venue installations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Primary duties to include but not limited to the following:


OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE:

  • Partner with senior leadership team to oversee sales and other revenue generating efforts of the REVELxp Tailgate Division
  • Impact our staff daily to live our core values of service joy and entrepreneurship
  • Implement strategy and behaviors that lead to a 10% same store sales growth
  • Implement strategy processes that drive the behaviors that lead to revenue growth of our nationwide tailgate properties
  • Work closely with the Tailgate division Regional Vice Presidents to provide them with the tools to further train and hold their teams accountable for sales processes and results
  • Develop & implement efficient CRM and behavioral tracking SOP for tailgate division
  • Develop & implement overall sales strategy and sales processes for the division
  • Develop recommended commission and incentive plans for the division
  • Model desired sales behaviors for our team members
  • Implement revenue strategy process and development trainings for the Tailgate division
  • Oversee and grow new business opportunities such as national corporate business alumni business university business bowl game business (currently $1.2M book of business); oversee 1-2 staff members assisting with this
  • Develop multi property cross selling clients into multiple properties strategy
  • Oversee marketing functionality within tailgating division
  • Work closely with the REVELxp data strategy team
  • Help maximize reach and efficiency by adding or creating best practices around becoming a gameday solutions provider to our partner athletic departments teams and events
  • Build and foster creative teams that are committed to our culture of innovation
  • Monitor the revenue pipeline and leads adjusting as necessary for sustainable growth
  • Create reporting and incentive plans that drive revenue and monitor behaviors so that we can identify areas of improvement across all properties

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Report Directly to EVP of Tailgate Division
  • Collaborate with the finance regional management and marketing teams on messaging pricing strategies and business models for achieving revenue goals
  • Oversee 2-4 staff members (national sales & marketing)
  • Monitor the marketplace and analyze opportunities providing competitive strategies and tactics
  • Establish Sales Timeline for Renewals New Business Full Seasons Mini-Plans etc
  • Develop Sales Glidepath for both Tailgating and Event Rental business and track/adjust as needed throughout year
  • Develop Sales Forecasting Strategy for both Tailgate and Event Rental business
  • Establish Sales Activity expectations. i.e. weekly/monthly in-person mtgs new business calls existing client calls etc
  • Establish regular coaching and training sessions designed to enhance seller communication and revenue for tailgating/event rentals
  • Establish hiring training and development best practices to be deployed at local property level
  • Work with Marketing/CRM team to generate new leads referrals and sales channels to assist local properties
  • Determine best Sales Enablement resources and develop maximization strategy for monetizing those resources
  • Work with Finance team to provide detailed and accurate sales and pipeline reporting for Tailgate/Event Rental business.
  • Remain well-connected with customers to ensure that their needs are being factored into the product development and enhancement cycles
  • Identify and resolve issues across the marketing sales and regional management teams
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Five or more years in diverse leadership roles driving and implementing revenue growth
  • Proven track record of growing revenue through strategy development marketing and partnerships
  • Significant experience in general management and P&L supervision
  • Ability to craft and execute a business strategy effectively
  • Experience in making decisions based on business metrics
  • Inspirational leadership style and hands-on approach

PREFFERED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong technical experience with Salesforce and other business productivity tools
  • Bachelor or Masters degree (or equivalent experience) in business administration or related field
