Summer Student Contract - Janitorial/Landscape

Cannon Automotive Solutions Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping has an immediate opportunity for a Student Contract Janitor/Landscape in our Windsor tooling and stamping facility. The Janitor/Landscaperis responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the inside and outside of the facility. The ideal candidate will have prior janitorial and landscape experience be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary of Responsibilities:

Under general supervision performs routine and preventive maintenance cleaning duties

Cleans washrooms changes garbage cans mops and sweeps the floor

Restock supplies in bathrooms break rooms and common areas

Collects and disposes garbage/waste to the proper disposal bins

Complete non-routine/emergency cleaning for aisle facility and press clean-ups

Mow lawns trim hedges and maintain outdoor areas.

Remove weeds debris and litter from parking lots walkways and grounds.

Maintain and repair outdoor structures such as benches and fences.

Operate and maintain landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.

Maintains a safe and clean work area

Maintains the cleanliness on the outside of the facility (parking lot windows etc.)

Maintains the employee walkways during winter season (snow shoveling and salting)

Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs

Minimum Qualifications:

Previous janitorial or landscape experience

Ability to operate cleaning and landscaping equipment safely

Willingness to work in varying weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
