DescriptionWe currently have a vacancy for a System & Security Administrator (Firewall) fluent in English to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Ispra Italy. The work will be carried out either in the companys premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major clients IT team on site.
Your tasks:
- Administration of infrastructures systems and services such as file and print-services RDS service systems and software and hosted applications and 2nd level support;
- Installation and configuration of system components and server software including patch management;
- Operating and monitoring of infrastructure systems servers;
- Incident management Change enablement Request fulfilment Problem management: definition analysis and resolution ;
- Preliminary diagnosis of software and hardware problems also in co-ordination with the central IT departments;
- Advise in areas such as capacity management contingency planning IT service continuity management automation of repetitive tasks security;
- Handling of backups and restore operations of systems & infrastructure;
- Security administration and monitoring in adherence to the security rules imposed by the central security service (complemented by local rules where needed).
Requirements - University degree in IT or relevant discipline combined with minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- Specific expertise in Firewall configuration and VPN configuration;
- Strong experience in Firewalling Technologies (for Cisco Fortinet VMware NSX systems);
- Strong experience in IPSec and SSL VPN standards and technologies and IDS/IPS Network intrusion detection technologies;
- Strong experience in Vulnerability detection and management solutions (Tenable Nessus Tenable Security Center) and in Incident response processes and techniques;
- Experience with Security on Microsoft technologies (Windows 10 Windows Server 20xx Active Directory) and Web Application Firewalls (e.g. F5);
- Experience with Security monitoring and attack detections (i.e. Tenable Identity Exposure Splunk) and TCP/IP networking and services (NTP DNS DHCP SNMP);
- Experience with Operating and monitoring of infrastructure systems and servers;
- Experience with Dual Factor authentication systems (token and radius servers);
- Excellent command of the English language a good understanding of Italian would be an asset.
