Job Description

Raise and maintain purchase orders and scheduling agreements in line with MRP recommendations.
Notify suppliers through the relevant channels of all new orders and call offs.
Monitor order confirmations and record the information where applicable
Manage the source list to ensure the use of approved supplier
Manage collection and return of rejected materials
Support the management of materials on launch and withdrawal
Monitor supplier service level and report any service issues to manager
Prompt communication to the relevant contacts of any supply and / or delivery issues
Ensure that Customer Service is not adversely affected by supplier or material issues
Support the Quality Manager in issues regarding material quality
Build and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers and internal contacts
