Fugro is seeking a Surveyor to support offshore projects from our Remote Operations Centre (ROC) in Aberdeen. Youll execute survey workscopes provide technical assistance to vessels and operate on a 3-week rotational schedule with 12-hour shifts. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a 24/7 high-tech hub directly connected to offshore operations.
The role:
The Surveyor will be responsible for the successful execution of survey workscopes from the Remote Operations Centre (ROC) conducting project operations and provide technical support and assistance as required to vessels across the region. Located in Aberdeen Fugros Remote Operations Centre provides a centralised resilient location with direct access to offshore projects 24/7. The role operates on a 12-hour shift on a 3 week rotational basis.
Your role and responsibilities :
Reporting directly to the Remote Operations Centre Manager the Senior Surveyor will liaise with the Survey Supervisor ROC Superintendent and work with other ROC staff Offshore staff Project Managers Clients Project Teams and third-party suppliers to oversee effective and efficient completion of project work scopes. Additionally you may be expected to collaborate with other Remote Operations Centres Innovation teams and key suppliers globally. Youll be involved in the following and more:
