Dignity Health Medical Group Northridge a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation is conveniently located on the Dignity Health - Northridge Hospital Medical Center campus and offers full service family medicine hospital medicine maternity care sports medicine and pediatric services to the community. In addition to more than 10 family medicine providers we are part of one of the few teaching hospitals in the valley where the Dignity Health Family Medicine Residency at Northridge (affiliated with the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA) has educated family physicians for more than three decades many of whom stay to serve this community.

Responsibilities

Operate radiology equipment to make clinical diagnostic x-ray films as directed by physicians. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: 1) ( 50%) Position patients and adjust equipment for taking x-rays following established procedures 2) ( 10%) Instruct patients regarding procedures 3) ( 10%) Follow prescribed safety standards in operating radiology equipment 4) ( 10%) Select length and intensity for radiation exposure by adjusting equipment on individual patient basis 5) ( 10%) Develop and process radiology film and examine film for properties such as definition magnification and distortion. 6) (10 %) Maintain examination rooms. Stock necessary medical and radiological supplies. May be required to occasionally work at other locations within the Greater Sacramento Area as needed.
