JOB SUMMARY:
Mission: Understand and support company purpose vision mission values metrics and critical success factors.
Lead your team in conducting daily team business coordinating effectively with all other teams and provide leadership. Improve team performance through training education coaching personal development Continuous Process Improvements (CPI) LEAN etc.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Improve/Grow team performance (time allocation 60%):
Quarterly performance discussions and annual performance/360 review of team members.
Initiate and own continuous improvement events in your area and throughout STOBER including equipment improvements LEAN Standardization etc. tosimplify and improve quality and efficiency. Utilize internal ME/IE resources and outside sources as support.
Create and own process maps and work instructions review annually and train gaps.
Train and document training of all team members in all necessary qualities and skill.
Problem solving: address any problems that arise on your shift(s) for team members. Work with your fellow TLs to help address quality concerns they may have. Take ownership of quality concerns and address as they are discovered.
Collaborate with all areas of STOBER as needed to address issues and opportunities.
Run the team business (time allocation 40%):
Lead team members in running daily business processes of unit processing from picking to final assemblyto meet OTD goals. Researching problems withgoalof elimination not just fixingand other tasks as needed.
Lead team huddle meetings daily; document and track action items until completion.
Hold Team accountable for adherence to STOBER procedures & polices.
Coordination with other Teams & Team Leaders in meeting customer demands.
Hold team accountable for 6S.
Scheduling vacations monitor time and attendance and overtime weekly.
Cover team capacity shortages when peaks arise or members are absent.
Forklift operation as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

Warranty return goal: < 0.5%.
On-Time-Delivery to Published Standard: 90%.
