Legal Administrative Assistant - Conveyancing/Real Estate
Location: Kelowna
Position Type: Full-Time In-Person (Onsite)
Our client is a prestigious business law firm located in Kelowna renowned for providing top-tier legal services in business and real estate law.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct title searches and review title documents.
- Draft and register Land Title Office forms.
- Coordinate with conveyancers realtors brokers and insurance agents on closing matters.
- Arrange for the deposit of trust funds and trust payments.
- Report to clients and third parties upon transaction completion.
- Perform general administrative tasks as required.
Education and Qualifications
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in real estate law.
- Expertise in residential transactions.
- Experience acting for lenders and borrowers on mortgage transactions.
- Proficiency in BC Online Worldox myLTSA and other required real estate forms.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage professionally at all levels.
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage responsibilities in time-sensitive scenarios.
- Sound discretion and judgment in handling confidential matters.
- Comprehensive understanding of BC Land Title Office registration requirements including e-filing experience.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $50000 - $70000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications).
