Description/Job Summary
SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION
Location: Greenville MS
Schedule: 12 hours rotating swing shift 3 days on 2 days off 2 nights on 3 nights off 2days on 2 days off 3 nights on 2 nights off repeat.
Job Summary: Operates inspects a conducts maintenance activities and cleaning of equipment and areas related to the sorting machines. Ensures that the equipment is functioning properly is well maintained and product is within specification/requirement. Also responsible for notifying supervisor and management of any quality food safety or food security issues.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be willing to bend stoop push pull twist and turn throughout the day.
- Must be willing to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be willing to work in hot and cold temperatures for extended periods of time.
- Must be willing and able to climb up to 100 feet.
- Must be willing to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be willing to climb stairs and ladders throughout the day.
- Must possess basic mechanical skills.
- Must read speak write and understand the English language.
- Must be willing to be trained to necessary paperwork.
- Must be willing and able to wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
- Must be willing and able to follow all Safety and Food Safety rules.
- Other duties as requested by supervisor.
Preferences:
- Completion of Manufacturing Skills Basic Certification through Washington County Economic Alliance.
