Job Description
Job Title:Pipe Beveling
Location:North Tulsa / Catoosa OK
Shift:Monday Friday 5:00 AM 3:30 PM (hours may vary with production demands)
Pay:$16.00 per hour
Job Type:Temp-to-Hire
Position Overview
Join our fabrication team as aPipe Beveling Laborer. You will bevel carbon-steel stainless-steel and alloy pipe ends manually or by machine to meet precise specifications ensuring each pipe is ready for welding and assembly.
Key Responsibilities
- Bevel pipe ends using hand grinders angle grinders and automated beveling equipment.
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings work orders and welding procedures.
- Measure and verify bevel angles with precision instruments (protractors calipers etc..
- Select appropriate abrasives and tools for each material type.
- Inspect finished bevels for burrs contamination and dimensional accuracy.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and replace worn components.
- Maintain a clean organized and safety-compliant work area.
- Report material tooling or specification issues to the supervisor promptly.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or industrial experience.
- Stable employment history.
- Ability to lift and move heavy pipe and materials.
- Must pass a national background check and 10-panel drug screening.
- Familiarity with basic shop math and safe tool operation is preferred.
