What Youll Do

In support of Nuclear Material Applications (NMA) the Program Support Specialist (PSS) will provide weekly and monthly cost reports to Program Managers (PM) from SAP works with PM and Business Analysts to provide BCR/ACB updates and projections. Update Excel Spreadsheets for GAP Removal monthly reports. Participates in mid-year and year-end financial exercise with NNSAs Office of Material Management and Minimization (NA-23). Provide the Foreign and Domestic Research Reactor Supply PMs with LEU & HEU cost estimates per the NNSA Pricing Policy. Monitor and track uranium pricing in accordance with the published market values. Prepares and submits WN funding projections requests and reallocations as needed to DOE. In coordination with the PMs and Accounts Receivable prepare/submit invoices to customers after uranium delivery and track until payment is received. Must have good interpersonal and organizational skills and may be required to submit purchase orders or act as a Subcontract Technical Representative if or when needed.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
  • OR Masters degree: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
  • OR Tenor more years of education and/or relevant experience may be considered to satisfy educational and years-of-experience requirements for this posting.

Preferred Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business or a related field and two years of relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in budget and reporting for NA-20 Programs.
  • Masters degree.

Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.

This position may require entry into the Material Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program (10 C.F.R. Part 712) which requires successful competition of a DOE counterintelligence evaluation and may include a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination.
