Job Description

  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies to optimize costs and ensure a reliable supply chain for all hotel operations including 12 F&B outlets convention center spa and an in-house laundry plant.
  • Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers negotiate favorable contracts and monitor performance to ensure quality timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
  • Contract Management: Oversee the entire contract lifecycle from drafting to execution and renewal ensuring compliance with hotel policies and legal requirements.
  • Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) Procurement: Manage the procurement process for major capital projects including renovations equipment upgrades and new facility construction.
  • RFQ/Tender Process: Lead the development of RFQ/tender processes for various goods and services ensuring fair and competitive procurement practices.
  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with departments to optimize inventory levels reduce waste and improve cost control.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop a high-performing procurement team providing guidance training and support.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and analyze procurement expenses identify cost-saving opportunities and contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with procurement policies procedures and regulatory requirements mitigating risks and safeguarding the hotels interests. Key approvers for all contracts.
  • Halal Management: Must be HCA licensed and responsible for leading the RC Halal committee alongside the Halal Assurance Officer. Ensure compliance with MUIS Halal policies procedures and regulatory requirements to mitigate risks and safeguard the hotels interests.
  • Sustainability and Ethical Sourcing: Promote sustainable procurement practices support local suppliers and prioritize ethical sourcing initiatives. Requires substantial knowledge in sustainability.
  • System Management: Manage and optimize the Futurelog E- Procurement system ensuring efficient workflows and data accuracy.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the hotel industry
  • Experience in a role that manages a team
  • Strong knowledge in both Food & Non-Food categories and suppliers.
  • Strong working knowledge on Negotiation and Procurement Policies.
  • Strong understanding in MUIS policies
  • Strong knowledge in sustainability
  • Possess leadership skill in managing a team.
  • Positive mindset with good attitude and integrity.
