OFFICIAL TITLE: Program Facilitator Parenting Teens ProgramWORKING TITLE:Program FacilitatorMONTHS: 12SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF CLASSIFICATION: The position supports the efficient operation of the Parenting Teens Program by managing administrative tasks that enhance student education and ensure effective communication with the SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Knowledge Skills and Abilities:Ability to effectively collaborate with all planning organization record-keeping and communication human relations of community resources is to confidentiality and meticulous attention to problem solver who demonstrates -motivated and flexible with the ability to set priorities work independently with limited supervision and meet deadlines work ethic combined with an enthusiastic and passionate approach to duties as assigned by the Parenting Teens Program TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:Associates degree required. Bachelors degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years experience in a school setting is strongly preferred. Awareness of community resources preferred. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMaintains confidential student procurement of program supplies and services. Maintains schedule of visitors and arranges for their comfort and screens unexpected callers in accordance with pre-determined policyComputer literacy essential with various programs-ASPEN Word and Excel AESOP/Frontline. Tracks and records student attendance student enrollment and collects intake documentation. Coordinates student (and child) transportation to include maintaining bus list communicating with transportation department and escorting students to the bus daily. Works with the local Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA) on monthly reporting attendance tracking and student with students to secure child care with PACE Child Care Works on monthly billing attendance and enrollment documentation for infants and toddlers. Coordinates and submits building with senior/junior advisors to coordinate high school related activities for parenting teens with community agencies to ensure appropriate service delivery for all students when needed. Performs any additional administrative responsibilities as OF EMPLOYMENT:PHYSICAL DEMANDS (Special requirements such as lifting heavy objects and frequent climbing): Ability to lift up to 20lbs as necessary to care for infants and toddlers. Alternative standing sitting bending. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (Frequent overtime or night work required etc.): Will need to attend after-school meetings on ELIGIBLE: NOSALARY- $45000-$50000REPORTS TO: Parenting Teens Program description may change at any time
