Everton Park Vet Surgery is an established veterinary practice in the inner-north suburbs of Brisbane and we are looking for a fabulous new Practice Manager to join and lead our team! In this role you will also be required to work as a Vet Nurse.
We have a strong focus on high levels of patient care with a commitment to the community and pride ourselves on excellent preventative care and client education. We have a dedicated nurse running puppy schools so there will be lots of opportunity for cute cuddles too!

About The Role
The success of thepractice manageris driven bytheir ability to co-ordinate the business people operations and services of the ideal candidate will thrive onmanaging a busy clinical setting which involves:
Carrying out Vet Nurse duties when required
Supporting and coaching the team
Ensuring smooth day to day running of the practice
Stock management rostering and other practice administration tasks
Managing business financials such as budgeting and P & L reporting
Identify staff training needs
Providing exceptional customer service and care to all clients and patients
Local marketing activities
Growth mindset and the development of new business to business opportunities
About You
Atleast2years in apracticeleadershipor head nurserolein a veterinary or animal related field
Holds Certificate IV in Vet Nursing
Be committed to high standards ofservice excellenceand clinical care
Experience with practice management systemsorappointment book management skillsand are computer confident
Experience using Ezyvet is desirable but not essential
Have strong problem solving decision making and organisational skills
Good understanding of people and employment obligations
Good knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations
Experience or interest in change champion and project management
Agenuine warm and supportive stylethat enjoys caring for people who care for animals.
