Position Overview

This is a full-time on-site role for a Marcom & Sales Enablement Specialist at Spirit Electronics in Phoenix AZ. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing communications strategies creating press releases handling strategic communications and managing public relations activities on behalf of the company. This includes communicating with customers suppliers and the media and assisting our team with a variety of marketing projects. Additionally for sales enablement you will be responsible for identifying evaluating and qualifying new business opportunities by staying on top of industry news trends and contract awards. As the first point of contact for new leads you will play a key role in fueling our sales pipeline and supporting new revenue growth strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with marketing sales and other staff to obtain information to create communication and marketing materials including customer outreach articles press releases and newsletters.
  • Supports marketing activities through market and industry research.
  • Supports the execution of marketing projects in collaboration with the rest of the marketing team
  • Write and edit company communications including both internal and external.
  • Writes original content including correspondence newsletters articles and website content.
  • Continuously track semiconductor industry news market trends M&A activity and government or commercial contract awards using news sources alerts and market research tools.
  • Curate and summarize relevant insights for sales marketing and executive teams.
  • Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities and sales leads from contract awards RFPs industry developments and competitor movements.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to assess the viability and strategic fit of leads.
  • Act as the initial point of contact for new leads generated through monitoring or marketing campaigns.
  • Engage prospects via email phone or digital channels to gather key information and qualify leads.
  • Maintain and update CRM records with accurate lead details and qualification status.
  • Work closely with Sales to transition qualified leads and ensure a smooth handoff.
  • Plan and implement marketing efforts for Spirit in conformity with company goals and objectives.
  • Participates in strategic communications planning for Spirit projects and initiatives.
  • Help pitch stories to major media outlets to elevate company visibility.
  • Determine target markets to expand Spirits audience base and how they will best be reached.
  • Contribute to the creation of promotional and informational materials.
  • Develop and coordinate marketing research.
  • Collaborate with staff to obtain information for promotion of Spirit events.
  • Performs other duties as assigned


Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in marketing communications or related field
  • Minimum of 34 years of experience in marketing public relations customer relations or a related field.
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with technical personnel.
  • Proven track record of successful communications implementation and evaluation.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfort with multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite including Word Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with social media management tools
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently


Desired Requirements

  • Experience and knowledge in Aerospace & Defense or Semiconductor industries a plus.
  • Experience in strategic communication planning
  • Knowledge of the principles concepts and practices of project management
  • Experience in best practices of communication and marketing methods and techniques
  • Experience in communication assessment editing research and summary
  • Evidence of effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in oral/written/media presentation
  • Experience in planning designing and creating communication resources and media technology using various communication styles
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining effective relationships with team staff and a variety of internal and external constituents
