About the Team & Business Line:
Fund Administration is Citcos core business and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industrys most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.
As a core member of our Private Assets team you will be working with some of the industrys most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.
Responsibilities
Your Role:
- Technology implementation rollout subject matter expertise and support
- Lead the adoption of company-developed tools and enhancements
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure smooth integration and adoption
- Conduct training sessions and become business subject matter experts and provide support as needed
- Testing and quality assurance
- Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) and production testing for new technologies and enhancements
- Validate accuracy and functionality before deployment
- Identify document escalate bugs or usability issues
- Process standardization and optimization
- Develop standardize and maintain excel templates for private equity teams to ensure consistency and functionality
- Guide Private Assets business teams to implement best practices and implement changes that promote standardization and/or decrease operational risk
- Automation management
- Develop document and maintain automated workflows
- Identify outdated automation and assist in adoption of Citco tools where possible
- Client onboarding
- Use knowledge and experience from process standardization and tool testing implement best practices when assisting with fund onboardings
- Reporting
- Generate ad hoc reports as required
Qualifications
About You:
- You have a Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or Economics; CPA an asset.
- 5 years of fund accounting experience in either a Private Equity/Assets Fund Private Equity/Assets Fund Administrator or other financial institution Strong fund accounting background
- Knowledge of US/Canadian GAAP and other comprehensive basis of accounting
- Strong leadership organizational and time-management skills
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail and proven ability to multi-task
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (EspeciallyExcel and Word) experienced user of the FIS Investran PE accounting platform highly desirable
- Advanced excel proficiency (including VBA complex formulas etc)
- Strong analytical problem-solving and documentation skills
- Ability to bridge technical and business needs
- High degree of adaptability learning new technologies seeing different processes for the same end result
