Job Description
Job Title: Systems Administrator
Location: Tallahassee FL 32399(onsite)
Job Summary:
This role includes oversight of cloud services on-premises environments Microsoft 365 environments Azure DevOps and Linux and Windows servers. The candidate will troubleshoot complex technical issues optimize infrastructure performance and lead IT initiatives.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelors Degree or technical institute degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field (or equivalent work experience).
23 years of experience with:
Windows Server (2012 R)
IIS Administration
Networking (TCP/IP DNS Samba/CIFS file sharing NTFS permissions)
Microsoft Azure AWS or GCP (highly desired)
Microsoft software administration (highly desired)
35 years of experience in infrastructure/network environments for operations support maintenance and administration.
35 years of experience supporting middleware (API Management IT Service Automation batch job services highly desired).
58 years of professional experience in information systems engineering or related field.
Key Skills & Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure services Windows Server products Microsoft 365 Microsoft Power Platform and Linux (Redhat and Ubuntu).
Proficiency in networking principles cloud-based network architectures and Linux administration.
Ability to troubleshoot document and automate administrative tasks.
Strong analytical organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Adaptable to shifting priorities and able to handle high-pressure situations.
Demonstrated problem-solving and research capabilities.
Primary Job Duties/Tasks:
Recommend and implement server and software upgrades.
Perform systems monitoring analysis performance tuning and troubleshooting.
Establish systems by evaluating network performance issues and planning equipment selection installation configuration and testing.
Create and manage Azure DevOps projects git repositories and pipelines.
Recommend and assist with building and hosting complex application solutions.
Deploy manage and optimize Microsoft Azure Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft 365 services.
Support other IT staff including developers as needed.
Find opportunities to refactor solutions for better performance cost and efficiency.
Build and manage relationships in a matrixed environment.
Other duties as assigned.
