About the Opportunity
As a Program Support Officer you will be instrumental in supporting the Program Manager with the administration and reporting of Integrated Marine Observing System (IMOS) activities. Working closely with the Program Manager youll manage program data streamline reporting and create insightful dashboards that drive performance and decision-making. Youll also coordinate team activities support new projects and contribute to a dynamic collaborative team of experts dedicated to marine science.

With a focus on flexible work arrangements this position is fulltime or part- time (0.7FTE) Based in Hobart Fixed Term until June 2027. Please note that this is likely to extend beyond subject to ongoing funding model.

About IMOS
The Integrated Marine Observing System (IMOS) is a national collaborative research infrastructure supported by the Australian Government ( It is operated as an unincorporated joint venture with the University of Tasmania as Lead Agent. IMOS provides a national multi-institutional capability to undertake systematic and sustained observing of the marine environment from the open ocean onto the continental shelf and into the coast and across physical chemical and biological variables.
