Overview

MRI Technologist II - PRN

As an MRI Technologist you will utilize strong magnets and radio waves to create body images.

St. Joseph Health Bryan/College Station Navasota Caldwell Madisonville TX now part of CommonSpirit Health formed by the alignment of Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Healthhas been caring for the communities in and surrounding the Brazos Valley. Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • The technologist is primarily responsible for daily operations of the MRI section patient schedule equipment maintenance the report of equipment failures and quality assessment (QA)

  • Responsible for performing studies in other modalities as trained or required.
  • Responsible in enforcing magnetic field safety for MRI patients operator and visitors.
  • The technologist maintains a high standard of medical ethics at all times and is self-motivated to increase level of understanding and knowledge of the field disease and new procedures as they evolve.

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in MRI
  • Must have completed an accredited Radiology or MRI program (Associates Degree)

Required Licensure:

  • MRAD - TX
  • RTR & RTMR
  • BLS-CPR
