Moderna is seeking a Jr Desktop Engineer to join our End User Experience team in Warsaw. This individual contributor role is crucial in shaping a seamless and innovative digital workplace for Moderna employees across the globe. The successful candidate will be a hands-on problem solver who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a deep passion for technology customer service and continual enhancement of user experience.
The Jr Desktop Engineer will play a key role in implementing supporting and maintaining a wide range of computing devices applications and systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. You will act as a front-line expert ensuring every new hire setup hardware deployment and technical support interaction exemplifies Modernas commitment to operational excellence and digital enablement.
Heres What Youll Do:
Your key responsibilities will be:
Deploying configuring and managing end-user devices including Windows PCs MacBooks and iOS devices to ensure maximum reliability and user satisfaction.
Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues related to operating systems Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Teams Excel) third-party applications and mobile platforms.
Supporting and troubleshooting Apple devices including iPhones and iPads to ensure smooth connectivity and integration with enterprise systems.
Performing end-to-end support for onboarding tasks such as new hire setups PC refresh programs phone configurations and A/V meeting technology support.
Your responsibilities will also include:
Providing high-quality responsive technical support to Moderna employees worldwide ensuring each request is handled promptly and professionally.
Maintaining and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) system configuration documentation and support guidelines.
Collaborating with other IT teams and cross-functional stakeholders to improve support processes enhance service delivery and contribute to continuous innovation in end-user experience.
Contributing to IT operational efficiency through proactive system monitoring and support automation initiatives.

Heres What Youll Bring to the Table:
3 years of experience in desktop support end-user computing or IT break/fix support.
Associate degree technical certification or equivalent work experience in IT support.
Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows Mac and iOS devices including device setup management and software support.
Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools with ServiceNow experience being a plus.
Hands-on experience supporting Windows Mac and iOS environments.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on customer service.
A proactive customer-first mindset with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn adapt and stay ahead of emerging technologies.Full understanding of Quality management activities related to qualification GxP Validation and change management of IT Systems
