Looking to step up and lead survey operationswithout heading offshore As a Survey Supervisor at our Remote Operations Centre in Aberdeen youll coordinate remote survey workscopes make sure the right resources are in place and support vessels across the region from our 24/7 high-tech hub. Youll work 12-hour shifts on a 3-week rotation helping keep projects running smoothly from a central onshore location. Your role and responsibilities:
This role reports directly to the Remote Operations Centre (ROC) Manager. The Survey Supervisor will work closely with other ROC staff Survey Supervisors ROC Superintendents offshore personnel Project Managers clients and third-party suppliers to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery.
- Oversee the execution of remote survey workscopes ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Coordinate with offshore teams and vessels to provide technical support and operational guidance.
- Ensure appropriate resources systems and personnel are in place to meet project requirements.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvement and contribute to testing and documentation of new processes.
- Maintain clear communication with internal teams clients and suppliers across regions.
- Support and mentor team members fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
What youll need to thrive in this role:
- Strong technical knowledge of survey systems remote operations and data acquisition processes.
- Experience in survey supervision ideally in offshore or remote environments.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Organisational and leadership abilities to manage resources and support team members.
- A proactive problem-solving mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with survey software such as QINSy EIVA or similar platforms.
- Understanding of QHSSE standards and operational procedures.
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts on a 3-week rotational schedule.
