Whats the opportunity:
Drivers/Installation Technicians provide excellent customer service by making prompt and courteous deliveries of customer orders. Drivers make pick-ups as necessary performs general warehouse duties and customer assistance as needed. This individual must perform all job responsibilities in a safe timely and efficient manner and by performing the duties listed below.
What will you do:
- Fill customer orders from DEX warehouses
- Load and unload truck accurately and safely for customer deliveries
- Perform vehicle and/or forklift inspections as required schedule routine or repair maintenance as needed. Maintain presentable truck appearance cleaning as needed
- Other duties will include but not limited to cycle counts inventory aiding fellow warehouse team members
- Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner following all safety guidelines and obeying traffic laws
What you bring to the table:
- Qualified candidates must be able to meet all applicable requirements under the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).
- 1 to 2 years experience driving a commercial vehicle
- Must possess a valid drivers license
- Basic math: understand written procedures write routine documents and speak clearly; and understand multi-step written and oral instructions is required
- Basic knowledge of safe lifting practices and good driving practices
