As a Service Engineer Automation youll be on the front line ensuring the seamless performance and satisfaction of our global customers while driving innovation and sustainability.
Your Main Responsibilities
Onboard Service Execution
- Commission new or retrofit installations of control systems onboard vessels and at shipyards worldwide
- Install configure maintain and troubleshoot automation systems
- Perform system start-ups testing and customer training
Project and Product Team Support
- Offer hands-on insights from the field to improve system design and installation planning
- Support project/product teams with complex technical inquiries
- Suggest design improvements based on field experience
Sustainability & Customer Satisfaction
- Provide in-depth customer support and feedback
- Help improve internal automation software in line with Evac guidelines
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships
What Were Looking For
Education & Experience
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Automation Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in commissioning troubleshooting and modifying automation and control systems
Technical Competencies
- Proficiency in PLC programming (ST FBD LD) Siemens S7-1500/1200 S7-300 Logo Omron
- Strong skills in troubleshooting electrical and process issues
- Experience with AutoCAD schematic drawings P&ID development and 3D modeling
- Excellent reporting and communication skills in English
