POSITION SUMMARY
The Business Development Analyst is a critical partner to the Chief Development Officer working in close alignment with the CEO COO CFO and Shore Capital deal team to support the of Therapy Partners Group s growth strategy through acquisitions De Novo expansion and business optimization initiatives. This individual will play a central role in opportunity evaluation financial modeling investment committee materials preparation and reporting and of LOI-to-close workstreams serving as a key operational and analytical resource in all phases of the deal lifecycle.
This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced high-accountability environment and is eager to gain hands-on exposure to the full M&A and DeNovo development process. Candidates must have exceptional attention to detail strong financial acumen and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
M&A and DeNovo & Support - Conduct detailed financial analyses and valuations to assess the attractiveness of M&A opportunities and support investment decisions
- Prepare executive-level deal summaries and investment committee materials
- Manage the M&A and DeNovo pipeline including weekly updates LOI-to-close tracking and reporting on progress toward growth goals
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of new acquisitions alongside the Chief Development Officer.
- Support due diligence processes including initial seller outreach data collection and synthesis of operational legal and financial information
- Build out and maintain various tools and dashboards
Market Research & Strategic Growth Planning - Partner with the Chief Development Officer to assess new markets through demographic and competitive analysis
- Track industry dynamics and regional developments to uncover market gaps and support strategic growth planning
Reporting Tracking & Communication - Develop and maintain trackers and dashboards for DeNovo builds acquisitions KPIs and performance benchmarking
- Assist in preparing board-level presentations and monthly reports for internal leadership and private equity partners
- Serve as a central point of coordination across business units helping to route development-related inquiries and ensure project alignment across departments
Relationship Management & Internal Coordination - Support relationship management efforts with acquisition targets and external advisors
- Cultivate cross-functional relationships across TPG s leadership team to support deal and post-close success
- Act as a thought partner to the Chief Development Officer contributing to continuous process improvement across the development function
MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge Skills and Abilities - Detail-Oriented: Strong commitment to accuracy and precision in analysis and reporting
- Autonomous Operator: Able to take full ownership of deliverables and drive projects forward with limited supervision
- Financial Acumen: Advanced proficiency in Excel with experience building models and dashboards from scratch
- Presentation Skills: Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to synthesize complex data and concepts into clear digestible executive summaries and presentation materials
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills; comfortable interfacing with C-suite and private equity stakeholders
- Project Management: Proven ability to prioritize manage multiple workstreams and meet tight deadlines
- Relationship-Driven: Adept at building rapport with external sellers and internal teams alike
- Initiative-Taker: Proactively identifies gaps recommends solutions and follows through with
Management (Size and characteristics of the team(s):
Education: Bachelor s degree in Finance Economics Business or a related field preferred but not required. Pre-MBA candidates with relevant transaction experience strongly preferred
Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in management consulting corporate strategy private equity or investment banking. Demonstrated exposure to M&A due diligence financial modeling and/or deal
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
This position may require periodic travel including site visits integration support and due diligence meetings. The role involves prolonged periods of sitting and computer use with occasional lifting bending and equipment setup. Candidates must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and maintain normal hearing vision and manual dexterity. Given the fast-paced nature of the work and the demands of transaction timelines occasional evening and weekend work may be required to meet deadlines and support critical business development initiatives.
