Job Description
Title: RN-Unit Manager
Location: Santa Fe NM 87505
Shift: 8am-5pm
Contract:15 weeks
Guaranteed hour: 40
Job Summary:The RN Unit Manager is responsible for overseeing the clinical and administrative functions of a designated nursing unit. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality patient-centered care while supervising nursing staff coordinating interdisciplinary services and maintaining regulatory compliance. The Unit Manager serves as a liaison between nursing staff patients families and leadership to promote a positive and efficient healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:-
Leadership & Supervision:

Manage supervise and evaluate nursing staff performance on the unit.

Provide guidance mentorship and staff development opportunities.

Schedule and coordinate daily nursing assignments to ensure adequate coverage.

Patient Care Oversight:

Monitor patient care to ensure it meets established standards and regulatory guidelines.

Conduct daily rounds to assess patient status address concerns and oversee care plans.

Collaborate with physicians therapists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.

Administrative Duties:

Maintain accurate medical records nursing documentation and care plans.

Participate in care conferences audits and quality assurance activities.

Ensure compliance with local state and federal regulations including CMS and Joint Commission standards.
