Job Description

Overview
The Pre-sales Executive plays a critical role in bridging the gap between the technical team and prospective clients. This position involves understanding customer requirements articulating the technical features of products and showcasing how these solutions can address specific business challenges. A successful Pre-sales Executive must possess in-depth product knowledge and the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively. By collaborating closely with the sales team this role is pivotal in driving the sales process forward ensuring customer confidence in the proposed solutions and ultimately contributing to the companys revenue growth and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be adept at understanding client needs providing demonstrations and managing queries effectively. This position is not only vital for revenue generation but also for establishing long-term relationships that facilitate future business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with potential clients to understand their business needs and challenges.
  • Develop and deliver presentations and demonstrations to showcase product features.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation related to products and services.
  • Support the sales team in identifying and qualifying leads.
  • Conduct research on industry trends to effectively communicate the advantages of solutions.
  • Provide timely responses to customer inquiries regarding products and services.
  • Assist in the preparation of RFIs and RFPs ensuring alignment with client specifications.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to generate pre-sales materials.
  • Manage follow-up calls and emails with clients to ensure full understanding of their requirements.
  • Coordinate with the technical team to address complex queries and issues promptly.
  • Participate in trade shows and other marketing events to promote products.
  • Maintain CRM and other databases to ensure accurate records of interactions.
  • Monitor competitor activities and provide feedback on market trends.
  • Provide regular reports to management regarding sales support activities.
  • Continuously enhance personal knowledge and technical skills related to products.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pre-sales or sales support role.
  • Strong understanding of the industry and product knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical information clearly.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales support tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies and techniques.
  • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and events.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in developing presentation materials tailored to various audiences.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Demonstrated negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Passion for technology and a keen interest in ongoing learning.
