Position: Senior Manager RE Projects (Solar & Wind)
Location: Corporate Office Hyderabad
Experience: 510 years
Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical Mechanical or Renewable Energy preferred)
Role Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager Renewable Energy Projects to lead the end-to-end of solar and wind energy projects. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in project management procurement regulatory compliance and business development within the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning and commissioning of utility-scale solar and wind projects across multiple locations.
Manage day-to-day project operations ensuring adherence to timelines budgets quality standards and safety protocols.
Develop procurement strategies and oversee the entire supply chainfrom vendor selection and negotiations to logistics and delivery.
Ensure full compliance with regulatory frameworks permits and statutory requirements at both central and state levels.
Build and maintain strong relationships with EPC contractors technology providers consultants and government agencies.
Provide technical and commercial insights for project feasibility studies and business development efforts.
Lead cross-functional teams and supervise on-ground engineering personnel to ensure seamless .
Prepare and present detailed project reports risk assessments and performance metrics to senior leadership.
Identify potential risks early and implement mitigation strategies to avoid project delays or cost overruns.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical Mechanical or related field).
510 years of hands-on experience managing solar and wind energy projects including procurement and O&M.
Strong technical knowledge of renewable energy systems grid integration and site operations.
Familiarity with power trading PPA structures and Indias regulatory landscape in the renewable energy space.
Proven leadership and team management capabilities; ability to coordinate across diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent communication negotiation and analytical skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g. MS Project Primavera SAP).
Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
