The Faculty of Business & Economics
Housed in the state of the art architecturally designed Sir Owen G Glenn Building our top-ranked triple-crown and PRME accredited University of Auckland Business School is seeking to recruit Post-Doctoral Fellows to join its world class faculty. It is the largest business school in New Zealand and has an international reputation for academic excellence. The Business School comprises seven academic departments with a strong reputation across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
We are seeking a candidate who wants to work in a collaborative team environment within a Business School Research Centre and across the faculty and who can contribute to teaching and research in business education. All academics within the Business School are based in disciplinary areas that form part of larger academic departments. You need to be willing to participate in service to the school faculty profession and discipline and have the desire to contribute to building a strong performance based culture in a faculty that aspires to lead learning and make a genuine impact in the community aligned with the University of Auckland Strategy Taumata Teitei as well as the Business School Strategy Shaping Futures.
The School enjoys excellent international links and leading scholars from top overseas universities often visit the Business School and teach courses in our undergraduate and post graduate programmes.
Te Whiwhinga mahi The opportunity
The Business School is recruiting a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join us on initial 12-month fixed-term contract from July 2025. The Fellowship aims to support the development of promising early career researchers with the potential to pursue a career in the Business School.
Applicants must be committed to developing their skills as a career academic within the Business School. There is an expectation that the Post-Doctoral Fellow will develop research leadership skills and work towards research independence during the tenure of the fellowship. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who shows the capacity and desire to develop a strong national and international teaching and publication record in the law arena.
This is a fulltime (40 hours per week) 1 year fixed term opportunity.
The remuneration for this role is $87772 per annum.
