Job Description
The role:
Were looking for a proactive and hands-on Property Assistant to join our friendly team at Summerset Ellerslie. In this full-time role youll play a key part in maintaining the high standards Summerset takes pride in helping to keep our village safe beautiful and running smoothly.
Youll work closely with the Property Manager and Head Gardener to support a wide range of maintenance and gardening tasks across the village. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety problem-solving and the satisfaction of a job well done.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting with general property and garden maintenance
Helping with building maintenance and refurbishments
Assisting with landscaping gardening and ground care tasks
Taking part in property inspections and reporting safety or maintenance issues
Communicating clearly and respectfully with residents team members and contractors
This is a Monday to Friday 8:00am 4:30pm position. Youll be part of a collaborative and supportive team who work together to create a village our residents are proud to call home.
Qualifications :

Were looking for someone practical approachable and dependable with the ability to take initiative and complete a variety of tasks efficiently.
Youll be successful in this role if you have:
Experience in property maintenance and gardening
Strong DIY or trade skills part trade qualified preferred
A current drivers licence
The ability to work independently and take pride in your work
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
This role would suit someone that takes pride in their work and surroundings. Someone who likes to engage with people in the village and their home and create a people-first environment.
