Job Description
Were recruiting for a Senior Conduct Risk Manager to join us. In this role you will have the opportunity to influence strategic decisions provide regulatory guidance and shape the conduct risk response across the Protection business. The role involves close collaboration with senior stakeholders and participation in high-impact projects.
What youll be doing:
- Providing expert conduct risk & compliance advice and guidance on new projects products propositions services and other initiatives to ensure the delivery of fair customer outcomes and appropriate risk mitigation
- Supporting less experienced members of LG Retail Risk on Protection related matters and ensure a consistent approach to the conduct risk & compliance advice for the Protection business
- Advising the Protection business on regulatory changes preparing responses and contribute to lobbying proposals to ensure new and changing conduct and compliance risks are appropriately managed understood communicated and adopted promptly
- Challenging the business on their management of conduct risks conducting risk and control assessments and spotlight reviews to ensure policies and processes are improved
- Building strong relationships with second line colleagues especially Business Partners to support the effective coordination of resources for the Protection business ensuring all conduct and compliance risks are identified and managed within the agreed risk appetite

- Excellent communication and influencing skills across all levels
- Ability to deliver practical commercially viable compliance solutions
- High attention to detail and strong analytical judgment
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and functions
- Experience in interpreting and applying regulatory rules in real-world scenarios
