Job Description

- Take pride in maintaining our Ground Support Equipment (GSE) both corrective and preventative.
- Permanent Full-Time shift position available
- Based at Brisbane Airport

Located in our Ground Support team your role as aMaintenance Fitter Ground Support Equipmentwill see you upholding all maintenance within the base this will be a combination of both corrective and preventative on motorised and non-motorised vehicles and equipment. You will also be responsible for using the IFS Maintenance system to capture maintenance activities.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a range of stakeholders across engineering airports and freight ensuring service level agreements are met with the highest standard of safety and compliance.
Youll have -
- A trade certificate in Automotive Mechanical and/or Electrical Maintenance trade certificate or equivalent
- Prior trade experience with heavy diesel vehicles (desirable but not essential)
- Familiarity with ground service equipment e.g. Pushback tugs aircraft loaders pallet loaders etc.
- Diagnostic and repair skills (with a focus on electrical and hydraulic systems)
- Commitment to being customer focused with flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as required
- High risk license Forklift license Welding and Elevatored Work Platform (EWP) (desirable but not essential)
- Ability to commit to a Monday-Friday shift roster (0600-2130)
- Demonstrated high levels of ethical/behaviour standards and self-discipline
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Dedicated to maintaining safe work practices and championing safety culture
