Job Description
As part of the global operation team the product engineer in the BST Suzhou team is resp. for the new products ramp up and monitoring the series products QCD* aspects via efficient SE-team work.
*QCD: Quality Cost Delivery
- Optimize product QCD in mass production with product SE-Team
- Driving implementation and optimization of production flows and procedures
- Reduce overall product cost (RPP) continuously
- Define product KPIs / planning premises and define measures for achievement
- Evaluation and reporting of production-related KPIs
- Ensure proper execution and evaluation of quality safeguarding processes such as EOQC ORT Maverick
- Resolving of production-related issues
- Decision proposal together with product SE-Team on material scrap
- Review suitable test limits for production material
- Manage changes within SE-Team
- Feedback mass production learnings to development
Qualifications :
- Bachelor degree (or higher) in Microelectronics or related field
- Self-motivated good coordination and moderation skills
- Good English in written and verbal
- Good communication skills and presentation skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Assertiveness
- Strong leadership skills in project management work
- At least 5 years related work experience
- Production-related data analysis and manufacturing control tools
- Statistical process control (e.g. SBL Maverick cpk BOPP)
- Quality methods (e.g. 8D problem solving failure analysis)
- Basic financial/cost understanding (e.g. PPC EBIT BC)
Preferred:
- Familiar with MEMS technology and products
- Familiar with semiconductor technology and process (Fab Assembly Test)
- Familiar with qualification and validation for semiconductor/MEMS products and production
